Hello Team Intamsys,
I am reporting a discovery on our funmatHT that I think you should know about.
We have been getting a BED TEMP ERROR on our machine for the last week. I entered a support ticket but wasn’t provided with a good follow up on how to fix my issue. I was given instructions on how to fix a HEAD TEMP ISSUE, which didn’t help me.
I decided to carefully remove the bed from the z axis today and I was shocked at what I saw! The soldering on the heaters and sensor ports was shockingly poor and could pose a hazard to our customers and ourselves. We LOVE this machine and are about to make a few sales but are concerned about the quality of this part of the printer and don’t want to provide a poor and unsafe piece of equipment.
We aren’t confident we can re solder the board and are hopeful we can get a new bed from you all immediately. We know the funmatHT has been improved since we bought our machine last summer, I’m hoping the quality of these connections has improved as well so we can sell these machines with confidence.
Pictures are attached and let me know when we can get the new bed shipped. We need it right away for pending projects.
